Lifetime Warranty Policy

At Whip It Light Rods, we stand by the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects on all our LED products. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction and provide support if your product experiences any issues.

Lifetime Warranty Coverage

Our lifetime, non-transferable warranty covers any manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship in our LED products. If your Whip It Light Rods product malfunctions due to a defect, we will repair or replace it at our discretion.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

  • Contact us directly by phone at 608-746-0563 or via email at techsupport@whipitlightrods.com.
  • Provide a detailed description of the issue, along with pictures of all sides of the product and a video.
  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs related to warranty claims.

Important Warranty Information

Any modifications or alterations to the product will void the manufacturer defect warranty.  Damage caused by customer misuse or accidents is not covered under the manufacturer defect warranty.

Customer-Caused Damage

If your whip is damaged due to user error or misuse, we will offer a replacement at 40% off the retail price, plus shipping costs.

Discontinued Products

If your LED whip is discontinued, we will upgrade you to a newer or comparable model. If no newer version is available, we will upgrade your LED whip to the next available model. If a matching set of whips is required, the second whip will be discounted by 40% to ensure you receive a complete set.

Products NOT Covered Under Warranty

Accessories such as flags and remotes are not covered by the warranty.

Return/Exchange Policy

We have a 30-day return/exchange policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return/exchange. 

To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Customers are responsible for the return shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee.

If you purchased your Whip It Light Rods product through an Authorized Dealer, please follow their return policy for refunds.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
